Rylov Arkady (1870-1939) Russian artist, landscape writer, animal painter. He was taught by K. Krigitsky (1888-1891) and at the same time at the drawing school of Art Encouragement Society and then at the Art Academy (1894-1897)where Kuinji was his tutor. Since 1915 he an academician of an art, since 1918 doctor. He was the most consistent follower and developer of Kuinjis plastic system, having created the row of bright, romantic images in painting. Rylov have been getting attached forever to the romantically high and generalizing, integral images, the lighting effects, the decorative understanding of color.
