“ The Birch grove ” - a joy, solar motive, apparently, specially come to the artist as pleasant, as he doubly returned to it subsequently, a little changing composition and light. The impression of a beginning of a summer, the first hot days with bright and clean leaves and juicy - green carpet dewy of a grass is handed with huge force. Sun-spots, pinkish on freshen to a crust of birches and burning warm the relief of “absolutely round” shafts is yellow - green tones not to a grass,, a wet mist of air, due to which one the schedules so are perceptible - all this resulted in delight of the spectators, and, under the remark of all reviewers, the audience permanents crowded before this picture. In 1881. Quindgy showed its second version on the exhibition of one picture, after the same exhibition only one pictures “ Lunar night on Dnieper ”. It was a very courageous step, you see in that time even the personal exhibitions still seem rare, but it was succesful exhibittions got together many people.
