Giorgione (1477-1510) - Italian artist.
Art critics written about the middle of XVI century, unanimously recognize in Giorgione the first genuine creator of the Venetian Renaissance. Delightful Giorgiones creativity falls at very short period of time because of his death in the age of 32 years. But the painters glory was so great, that his uncountable imitators appeared. His manner was being copy there and then, that fact complicates now an opportunity to distinguish autographic Giorgiones works from his followers ones.
