In Yaroslavl the intention of a picture Ђ Rooks was born have arrived ї, strongly linked creativity of the artist with a vernal subject and plot, close national life. In this picture the artist has shown all skill: the darkened snow in foreground seems friable, and lighted - in the distance of scooping - was coloured soft gold.
