 Klodt Michael Konstantinovich (Klodt von Urgensburg) (1832/33 - 1902)
The special feature of Klodts talent was obsession, flying into a rage in the expressing a beauty of Russian nature. His best paintings had been written in 1860 - 70th. By birth Klodt was from artily gifted family: his father was engaged in an engraving on a tree, the uncle was the well-known sculptor. In the childhood Klodt was taught the drawing in the Mountain military school by Hrutsky. In 1850th he studied in the Art Academy as the pupil of the landscape painting professor Vorobjev. In 1863. lodt had been glorified by the picture The Big road in the autumn.

The album was released by the publishing house "Agni" (Samara), with active cooperation of the Nicholas Roerich Museum in New York, as well as the Moscow Gallery Fine Arts Academy and the St. Petersburg State Museum and Institute of the Roerich Family.
