Âðóáåëü Ìèõàèë Michail Vrubel (1856-1910)
is an outstanding Russian artist. Michail Vrubel trained drawing since his childhood. From 1880 to 1884 he attended the Petersburg Academy of Applied Arts. He was taught by P.P. Chistykov. Then Vrubel worked in Kiev, where the basic features of his creativity were finally generated. In 1889 he left for Moscow. In work concerning the mystic subject his perception of the world was externalized the most fully. It was also supported by a Vrubel art pencil, in which overlapping of the several views in the image of a subject, a set of crossed sides and planes, and a mosaic stroke became a mean of figurative expression. The Vrubel creativity got out from of the frameworks as well symbolisms as modernisms. He created his unique style. In Vrubel pictures the world of human feelings and world of a nature joined in perfect union.
